Active tire pressure system monitoring display available from MCI Service Parts

Improve your safety program and save at the fuel pump! SmarTire provides real-time tire pressure and internal tire temperature information from the convenience of the driver's seat. Preprogrammed, yet fully customizable, the SmarTire system alerts drivers when a tire becomes 15 percent under-inflated and provides a critical warning when a tire is 25 percent under-inflated. Plus, the system has a high-temperature alert intended to warn drivers before a blow-out.

SmarTire Rolls Out Faster Sensors


New "Always On" Sensors for the SmarTire System.

Unlike the System's original standard orange sensor, which transmits data in 60-minute intervals if a coach is stationary or traveling under speeds of 14 mph for 15 minutes, the new "Always On" yellow sensor senses tire pressure every 12 seconds and transmits data every three to five minutes. According to its manufacturer, the new, faster sensor:

  • Eliminates troublesome error messages
  • Senses tire pressure even when the coach is idle, standing or parked
